Worthen Furniture manufactures and markets custom iron and brass furnishings to end consumers as well as interior designers and boutique hospitality target audiences, and seeks to grow each of these audiences, our overall sales, and customer base within each segment. This role will have direct involvement with how our customers see Worthen Furniture and therefore, must embody the ethos and aesthetic direction of the company. Knowledge of premium trends, visual strategies and fashion tastes as it pertains to the luxury segment is a pre-requisite for this position.The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the social media audience building, content generation, and marketing efforts supporting primary objectives of building the brand, differentiating from the competition, increasing awareness, enhancing prospect and customer engagement, reinforcing sales activities, and ultimately helping to increase sales online year over year.This will be achieved by facilitating, developing, and executing digital strategies, including managing all aspects of e-commerce site programming, content, social media engagement, customer access to tools, product information, company assets, as well as an array of marketing projects and initiatives aimed at growing brand awareness and product appeal.Responsibilities Include:Social Media ManagementManage a robust deployment of content and social media partnerships to grow the Worthen brand and its role within luxury custom home furnishings. Develop blog and social content that aligns with our top customer segments and portrays a highly evolved aesthetic and partnership with the top designers in the industry. Grow brand awareness and partnerships by following and participating with key target and customer acquisition candidates. Maintain active and up-to-date content supporting sales events, marketing opportunities, campaigns, posts, email, and other initiatives. Track and report engagement analytics for best practices to extend sales and designer alignment opportunities.Graphic and Visual MerchandisingCreate digital visual content as needed including graphic designs and visual marketing products. Coordinate digital photography and 3D visualization for business needs including but not limited to photo and video shoots, specified e-commerce imagery needs and social media specific visuals. Work as needed with outside contractors supplying these services and ensure on time execution of needs. Coordinate timing of visual needs to match marketing events, sales opportunities and programming throughout the year. Organize and manage all visual content withing Worthens digital asset management tool.Product InformationDevelop rich product information accessible to our customers for use in making purchase decisions, design choices and creating custom options including but not limited to product information tear sheets, look books and e-commerce product information needs. Publish product content and make available through all forms of digital interfaces including website, digital asset management tools, social media sites and e-commerce platform interfaces. Develop internally or work with outside resources on copy writing, stories and distinct product details and differentiation notations that help to sell our brand and product. Assist in the design and roll-out of print information and catalogs.Print Production and Web PublishingPublish new content to all website and digital platforms. Ensure access of all information and execution of subsequent links and assets. Manage publishing of print catalogs, look books, post cards, swatch rings, product tags, QR codes and other requirements as specified by sales and marketing directors. Must be able to review, proof, self-check, and confirm that all information and materials are accurate and utilize appropriate grammar, spelling, and punctuation.Overall Requirements:The person best suited to this role will have a passion for style, knowledge of premium brands, visual strategies and fashion tastes within the luxury home furnishings segment. They will be a self-starter, capable and experienced at operating independently, yet willing and motivated to collaborate with both internal and external resources to achieve best in class content, traffic, engagement, analytics, and results. This is a hands-on role and will require some flexibility in schedule to stay on top of priorities, workload, and deadlines. Since this is a small company, the role will likely evolve to include additional needs and responsibilities based on areas where the team needs more bandwidth and assistance.Bachelors Degree at a minimum (preferably in Communications, Marketing, or Website/e-commerce Development and Marketing)- 5+ years hands-on experience managing and coordinating content creation/writing, web marketing, as well as working with web developers, creative contractors and the sales, media, and marketing teams. We are seeking someone with e-commerce experience (ideally Shopify), as well as an in-depth understanding of digital marketing analytics, and digital conversion strategies.Core technical skills to support digital strategy includes experience in managing social media applications, Content Management Systems, Basic Design and Production skills, Email Marketing Programs both for consumer and B2B audiences. A basic understanding of video production, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, as well as analytical tools such as Google and HubSpot Analytics.
