Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Hospital: TriStar StoneCrest Location: Smyrna, TN Address: 200 StoneCrest Blvd Unit Name: Women’s Services Building: Main hospital Cost Center: 66088 General Information Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds : 9 L&D, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs & 3 bed OBED · Patient Ratios : 1-2 · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit Secretary and scrub tech, dedicated CRNA & midwife in-house 24/7, OBGYN on call · Type of equipment : · Documentation system: CPN and Meditech · Scheduling requirements: 4 weekend shifts/month · Floating policy: can float to m/b or outside department to task · Patient Experience requirements: Remain above 75% Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: RN, ACLS, BLS, NRP. Fetal monitoring Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have : Drive to provide highest quality of care to our laboring patients. Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities specific to patient preference. Advanced skills needed: Spinning babies helpful, STABLE also helpful Procedures performed on unit: circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4, pp hemorrhage- JADA system, nitrous oxide Certifications Required: RN, ACLS, BLS, NRP. Fetal monitoring Dress Code : (Required uniform) · Hot pink and black. May wear black on bottom but preferable hot pink on top. Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines. · Awards/Recognition: Please include anything that you would like prospective candidates to be aware of, such as, links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards. · HCA Unit of Distinction 2021, TIPQC Pilot hospital for NTSV and Team Birth Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc. · We use a laborist team model with 24/7 midwives and dedicated CRNA and OB on call. We attempt to personalize each birth experience to our patients’ desires and needs. We perform couplet care in our postpartum unit to allow the newborn to never have to leave the bedside and promote breastfeeding with the additional of donor milk availability when needed. We have an 8 bed level 2 NICU with NNP dedicated to the unit 24/7. NNP available to attend all high risk deliveries when needed. Tact Medical Staffing Job ID 484822.
