Job Summary:
We are seeking a Scrum Master who has experience managing both application development and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, using the principles of the Scrum Framework to lead teams through successful project completion. This role requires independent decision-making and interpretation of project needs, while also ensuring the team follows established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
•Coordinate an agile development team, ensuring all activities follow the Scrum Framework.
•Lead teams through timeboxed iterations (sprints) and track progress through daily stand-up meetings.
•Understand department, segment, and organizational strategies, including their linkages to related areas.
•Make decisions on work methods in ambiguous situations with minimal direction and guidance as needed.
•Follow established guidelines and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree.
•Less than 5 years of experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
•Excellent communication skills, leadership competencies, and a high level of emotional intelligence.
•Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment or familiarity with Agile methodologies.
•Experience in a multi-team environment.
•Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Prior experience in insurance operations.
•Technical documentation abilities.
•Advanced knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban development methodologies.
•Working knowledge of Agile Project Management tools.
•Scrum Master certification.
•Previous experience planning and managing large projects.
•Prior experience in the health solutions industry.
•Experience working with IT teams.
