Arthrex is actively seeking a Sr SAP Solution Manager Business Systems Analyst - who works directly with the IT departments within Arthrex The Business Systems Analyst Sr is responsible for developing and monitoring application functionality to ensure that Arthrex business systems meet user requirements, operate as intended, and comply with quality management limits and standards. This Analyst showcases advanced technical proficiency in SAP and possesses extensive knowledge of Arthrex business systems, serving as a Subject Matter Expert on multiple applications within a domain. Additionally, they are tasked with leading projects, executing complex technical tasks, and mentoring peers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate independently with minimal supervision from the Development Manager or supervisor, exercising independent judgment to assess software applications utilized by different business units within Arthrex.
- Coordinate and support extensive and intricate release projects, encompassing all testing activities such as project estimation and scheduling, training, test automation and execution, and defect management. Provide daily/weekly status reports and contribute to project closure. Ensure that the test team adheres to Arthrex development standards and procedures.
- Manage assignments of a more technically complex nature, which may involve integrations with other systems, performance testing as necessary, and the migration of data from one database or system to another in large implementation or major release projects.
- Collaborate with Basis, security, infrastructure, and application development teams to set up and sustain test environments.
- Convey identified issues to the application development team lead and manager, contribute to the triage and resolution process, provide guidance on design/architectural solutions, and suggest improvements to processes or applications to management.
- Analyze matrix in software defects and collaborate with application development teams to enhance coding and unit testing practices, aiming to minimize defects in subsequent builds/releases and enhance code quality upon turnover.
- Support release management and production deployment activities, potentially collaborating with DevOps teams to implement continuous integration processes, including test automation.
- Potentially engage in or take the lead in Scrum/Agile teams to implement behavior-driven development or other forms of accelerated software engineering practices.
- May support business analysts during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and within the solution manager.
- Responsible for the analysis, design, and customization of SAP Solution Manager implementations, encompassing both technical aspects and the implementation of SolMan Solutions.
- Must be capable of managing the complete end-to-end implementation of Solution Manager.
- Should have the capability to oversee the complete end-to-end implementation of technical monitoring in Solution Manager.
- Must be capable of managing the complete end-to-end configurations for Solution Manager Focused Build, Focused Insight, and Operation Control Center.
- Engages with SAP functional and technical consultants to comprehend issues and delivers solutions with seamless coordination.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and Good knowledge and hands-on experience of SAP Solution Manager -
- Process Management and SAP Solution manager Focused Build for solution documentation (as KM tool)
- Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- Based dashboards for Focused Insights.
- Test Management tool
- Build management.
- Content management for training material in Solution Manager
- Focused Build for project & release management.
- Business Process Monitoring
- Root Cause Analysis
- Proficient in working with relational databases, SQL, and XML/JSON; possesses advanced skills in database querying.
- Hands-on experience in testing emergency application defects in production systems, handling system patches, maintenance releases, enhancement releases, and implementing new applications.
- Competent in the implementation and maintenance of CHARM (Change Request Management).
- Proficient in resolving production issues in Solution Documentation, Test Suite, and BPCA (Business Process Change Analyzer).
- Knowledgeable in managed system configuration, system preparation, and technical monitoring.
- Ability to check and resolve dependencies on each CHARM document and monitor and troubleshoot background jobs.
- Deployment of approved transport requests into production within weekly and monthly release windows.
- Some experience with web services, integrations, or APIs, and proficiency in using automation test tools for such testing.
- Some experience with using and developing automation scripts in TOSCA or an equivalent Test Automation tool is required.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle with a demonstrated understanding of testing processes.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages and various technologies, including relational databases, SQL, XML/JSON, and
- Proven ability to create functional specification documents, Technical Specification Documents, and Test Results.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, coupled with a customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in languages like ABAP/ Java Script are advantageous.
- Preferred experience as an SAP Solution Manager Application Consultant.
- Certification as SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP Solution Manager, with a preference for Managed System configuration expertise.
