Job Title: Technical Business Analyst (Payments) Location: Charlotte, NC - Day 1 Onsite Duration : 6 Months Contract Experience: 10 Years Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payments Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in understanding and analysing the payments landscape in the US market. Your expertise will help us drive strategic decisions, develop new products, and enhance existing solutions. Knowledge of FIS products are considered an asset. What you will be doing: Collaborating with business and solutions managers to capture, in writing, the requirements and specifications necessary to enhance, extend, or strengthen customer applications/products and other related integrated systems. Be a member of the development team and responsible for working with Solution Management personnel, our clients, and development teams to establish and document functional and technical business requirements. Key Responsibilities: Requirements elicitation and preparing specifications from client requirements. Define business objectives and translate them into actionable plans. Work closely with product development teams to ensure that product features align with market needs and customer expectations. Strong communication and presentation abilities. Exhibit solid decision-making and strong problem-solving skills. Experience working in Agile organization. Exposure and familiarity working Jira and related development management tools. Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes, especially those related to ISO 20022 adoption in the US. Evaluate and enhance existing payment products and solutions to ensure alignment with ISO 20022 standards. In-depth knowledge of ISO 20022 standards and mapping of legacy message formats to ISO20022 and their relevance to payment processes. Knowledge in handling SWIFT MT message formats, including MT1xx, MT2xx, MT300, and MT9xx. Knowledge in the implementation of ISO20022 payment message formats, such as PAIN (Payment Initiation), PACS (Payment Clearing and Settlement), and CAMT (Cash Management). Familiarity with various payment Rails and Clearing houses like SEPA, BACS, ACH, Fedwire, Fednow, RTP, CHIPS, TCH and NACHA. Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance related to payment systems. End to end implementation knowledge in processing of a cross boarder/domestic payment. Knowledge of FIS products are considered an asset. Knowledge in handling FX, Rejections, Returns & Reconciliations. Knowledge or Qualified in the SaFe Agile Framework. Define business Wireframes & Process flows. Knowledge on API's, their design and documentation. Strong expertise in handling integration and connectivity with different microservices or external applications/service providers. writing of user stories and user acceptance criteria by following the Gherkin format Perform Gap analysis and preparation of RAID log. Provide training to internal teams and customer support personnel on payment processes and systems.
