Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Educational Learning administrative staff to plan, coordinate and execute an educational program for students entering grades 1–9, including the following responsibilities:Oversee the general planning calendar, determining class offerings, securing and preparing facilities, and overseeing any logistical needs;Assist with planning activities and events such as field trips, student activities, open house, and orientations;Oversee inventory, purchasing, and distribution of supplies, equipment, technology needs, and program merchandise;Maintain and update program files and records; preparing required fiscal paperwork including hiring documents, timesheets, registration refunds, and requisitions for purchases;Collect data and generate reports as requested;Assist with recruiting teachers, teacher assistants, and support staff;Create teacher assistant work schedules and duty assignments;Field inquiries and outreach (phone, email, in person);Process registrations, student confirmations, release forms, payment, and other parent/student communication and documentation;Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:Possession of a baccalaureate degree in education, communications, business administration, or related field and 2 year(s) of progressively responsible professional experience with responsibilities for coordinating K-12 educational programs; or any equivalent combination of education and/or professional work experience which provides the required education, knowledge, skills and abilities as indicated.Functional knowledge of principles, practices and techniques in managing front office operations demonstrated by knowledge, understanding and ability to apply concepts, terminology.Functional knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and systems associated with preparing and maintaining comprehensive records and reports.Demonstrated ability to recognize problems, identify possible causes and resolve the full range problems that may commonly occur in working with a diverse group of stakeholders, teaching staff, K-12 students and their parents, and administrators.Demonstrated ability to understand oral and written documentation, write reports and procedures, and communicate effectively in a variety of situations.Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team members and individuals.Demonstrated ability to operate a personal computer and apply word processing software.Proficient in MS Suite (WORD, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Form, Google Drive, and Google Hangouts.Experience working with FileMaker Pro.

Desirable Qualifications:Master’s degree in communications.Proficiency with FileMaker Pro.CPR Certified.Certified in areas pertaining to children and community engagement.
