(preferably Math and ELA)Established proficiency in subject matterDetail-oriented and highly dependableAbility to communicate effectivelyMotivation and passion to help students achieve academic excellenceMust have reliable transportation for in-person tutoring. If driving, proof of insurance for your vehicle is neededMust clear reference check & FBI/DOJ background check processesMust provide a negative tuberculosis test (valid within the last 2 years)Please provide a copy of any certification you hold such as a Teacher’s Credential/Certification or Tutor CertificationNational Tutoring Association certification available to StudentNest tutors
