About the Opportunity
Our client, a mid-sized accounting and advisory firm based on the West Coast, is currently seeking an Audit Manager in their Denver, Colorado office. In this hybrid-remote role, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of an audit, review or accounting engagement and ensuring client deliverables comply with both the applicable accounting framework and firm policy.
ResponsibilitiesBusiness development and client developmentServe as Subject Matter Expert in assigned discipline or industryAct as Engagement Partner or report to Engagement Partner; assist with ensuring client deliverables are timely and correctAssume leadership role on client leads, including initial communication, fee estimates and attending meetingsSupervise staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, reviews and mentoringRequired Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field10 years of experience in public accounting with 3+ years of experience in a management or senior management roleDemonstrated ability to bring in new businessThorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States, United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board StandardsCurrent and valid CPA licenseWhat We Offer
