Experience as Neuro Interventionalist a plus. Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring would be needed. Primary case/Procedure Type: Main procedures would be Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures (i.e. line placement, intubation). Neuro specific would include bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery and in future state caring for Neuro interventional patients Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely Job Requirements WI RN License BLS and ACLS certifications NIHSS preferred Minimum Experience: 2 years with specific background in Med/Surg ICU or Neuro ICU Schedule Information Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift Requirements: 12 hr Variables Float Requirements: will float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units- possible float to other critical care units On Call/Call Back Requirements: NA Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend Every other holiday Unit Specific Information Unit Details: 8 bed Neuro unit catering to a Neuro population including Stroke, TBI, Head injury, and Neurosurgery patients Main procedures: Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures Bolt and drain bedside placements, familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring needed Experience as Neuro Interventionalist a plus Additional Details Scrubs Color: any color scrubs GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
