DescriptionBoater's World Marine Centers is looking for a polished and experienced boating industry Sales Consultant for our Grand Prairie, TX location. If you have been in the industry for several years and have a proven successful sales record, then this could be the position for you. Please note, this is not a trainee position.A minimum of 3 years of marine or powersports industry experience in sales is required for this position.Primary duties and responsibilities, not limited to:Customer ServiceMaintains a neat and professional appearanceCreate and strengthen relationships with customers by creating a customer-centric experienceAssist all customers in need, regardless of department (sales, service, or parts)Maintain a tidy workspaceInform management of customer service opportunitiesEnhances organization by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add valueSalesAssists and guides customer inquiries that lead to increased sales revenueMaintain constant flow of prospects into and out of the sales funnelFulfill customer inquiries and follow-up as appropriateSuccessfully close sales transactions that benefit the customer, business, and salespersonAccurately enter sale into dealer management system, and process appropriate paperworkTake ownership of the sales process from initial call to post-sale follow-upBrokerage with yachts and boats as the business growsOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
