Patient population includes General Medical/Surgical Population, Total joint and Spine Surgery. Provider support includes interpretation services, lift teams, pharmacy, phlebotomy, physical therapy, radiology, rapid response teams, respiratory services, social services, transportation, and unit secretary. Provider coverage includes Hospitalist. 2 years experience required. No 1st time travelers. On call, weekends, float required between four other MS/Tele unit. Tele buddy responsible for strips. Meditech documentation. SBAR communication. Dress code is blue scrubs (not provided, must be plain/no logos). 24 hours orientation. Certifications REQUIRED: BLS (AHA only, no HeartCode) ACLS cert preferred.
