**Job Title:** Registered Nurse – Dialysis

**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 Hours per Week
**Experience:** Minimum two years of Hemodialysis experience; at least one 13-week travel assignment
**License:** Registered Nurse (RN) License in South Dakota or a compact state
**Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
**Must-Have:** Dialysis experience, competency in accessing and troubleshooting fistulas/grafts, EPIC experience preferred, familiarity with Fresenius 2008T BlueStar Hemodialysis Machine and WRO 300/300H Portable Reverse Osmosis System preferred
**Job Description:**
- Float between inpatient and outpatient dialysis areas as needed.- Provide care to both acute and chronic dialysis patients.- Perform hemodialysis with an understanding of patient ratios, which may vary based on staffing and acuity.- Collaborate with dialysis technicians and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) in the outpatient setting, handling a ratio of 1:8 patients.- Participate in daily staffing including roles as charge nurse and isolation/float nurse, depending on necessity.- Undergo one week of orientation, including a general hospital and department orientation.- Handle patient scheduling with patient scheduling software, ScheduleWise.- On-call duties required, with calls typically occurring from 20:00-08:00, Monday through Saturday, and a 24-hour call on Sunday.- Adhere to weekend rotations; engage in shifts per outlined schedule expectations.- Approval from manager required for time off; work all holidays within the duty week except Thanksgiving and Christmas, but must compensate by working a Sunday.- Maintain adherence to dress code with navy blue scrubs.
