A bit about us:Our client, a growing global manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Controls & Commissioning Engineer to join its growing team - 60% travel. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing advanced control systems, hardware setup, and commissioning activities within our financial operations. This position involves working with a team of engineers and finance professionals to design, develop, and oversee the installation and maintenance of our control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware setup, controls engineering, and industrial control systems.

- Provide technical support and training to other team members and stakeholders.
- Ensure all control systems comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Document all control system designs, modifications, and procedures.
- Conduct regular system audits and inspections to identify and resolve any potential issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with other operational systems.
- Mix of office and job site location.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a controls engineer with industrial control systems
- Proven experience in hardware setup, control systems design, and commissioning activities.
- Siemens S7 + Allen-Bradley experience required.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial control systems.
- Strong understanding of financial operations and processes.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using control system software and hardware.
