Salary: $50,000 - $75,000 per year

Our client is a well-established and respected general contracting firm out of Boise specializing in ground-up commercial construction projects as well as tenant improvements, buildouts and consulting services. Their portfolio of clients is quite diverse and includes retail, restaurants, corporate and industrial projects.

Currently they are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who can work out of their office in Boise and this will be a direct hire full-time position with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage all incoming invoices to ensure timely payment.
• Verify accuracy of billing and resolve discrepancies with vendors as needed.
• Maintain organized records of all transactions and vendor information.
• Prepare and perform weekly check runs.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Communicate with project managers regarding invoice approvals and payments.
• Provide support during audits by gathering necessary documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
