Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Our client has been in business since 1962. They draw on their experience and expertise to provide value, from the initial consultation to post-implementation support. Most of their products and systems are designed, manufactured, and tested at our headquarters in Dallas, Texas.

• Prefer Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6 years of relevant Accounting experience. This would include a manufacturing background in Cost Accounting
• CPA or CPA Candidate Preferred but not a requirement
• Perform Cost Accounting Duties and Analysis
• Review and analyze general ledger and trial balance
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform GL and balance sheet account reconciliation and analysis
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations including research of reconciling items
• Reconcile intercompany accounts and resolve any variances
• Track all capital expenditures, update fixed assets, and depreciation schedule
• Prepare analytics over monthly financial results and report on variances versus prior periods to efficiently report results to upper management and internal business partners

-Participate in improving processes through automation, analysis, and researching best practices

• Assist with the monthly and annual close process, ensuring close deadlines are met
• Ability to analyze financial data and working knowledge of financial statements
• Maintain daily cash deposits and recording to the G/L
• Trained to be backup to Accounting Manager for transactional accounting such as A/P
• Reconcile online Salesforce shop to bank and investigate variances
• Take on other accounting duties and projects as needed
• Assist with the various detailed analysis and reports for annual independent CPA audit

Software:

• Ideally have Epicor experience or other ERP system experience, Salesforce, e-commerce systems (such as Shopify) Avatax
• Proficient in Microsoft Products including Excel, able and eager to learn new software skills
