Job Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is well-versed in electrical installations, blueprint reading, electrical safety knowledge, electrical schematics, PLC programming, and electrical code knowledge. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance and preventative measures on all electrical systems to ensure efficient and safe operations.
2. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
3. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
4. Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes.
5. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
6. Program, troubleshoot, and repair PLC systems.
7. Manage and oversee electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget.
8. Collaborate with the maintenance team and other staff to optimize workflow and efficiency.
9. Provide guidance and training to junior electricians as needed.
10. Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance and repair work.
11. Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field and propose new ways to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proven experience with electrical installations, blueprint reading, electrical safety knowledge, electrical schematics, PLC programming, and electrical code knowledge.
3. Valid state Electrician license, preferred
4. Proficiency in using electrical and hand tools, electrical drawings, and blueprints.
5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
6. Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, and maintenance and repair procedures.
7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
10. Strong understanding and appreciation for safety measures and regulations in the workplace.
