We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent MEP Project Manager (PM) to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our electrical construction projects from conception to completion. You will be the driving force behind our projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. If you have a background in electrical engineering and construction management, and a passion for leading teams and driving projects to success, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle including initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure of mechanical, electrical and plumbing construction projects.
  2. Develop and manage project schedules
  3. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are aligned and project objectives are met.
  4. Manage project budgets, including cost control and financial reporting.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and other relevant regulations.
  6. Lead project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring effective communication.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve technical and logistical issues that arise during the project.
  8. Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure project objectives are being met.
  9. Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
  10. Continually identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as necessary.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  2. Proven experience in a project management role.

Industrial or manufacturing construction experience required.

  1. Proficiency with Primavera 6 (P6), and other project management software.
  2. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction methods.
  3. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  7. Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
  9. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.
  10. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in electrical construction management is required.
