Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Controls Engineer to join our growing team. This position will provide the opportunity to work on a variety of cutting-edge projects, playing a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of control systems. The successful candidate will work closely with a diverse team of engineers and other professionals to develop and optimize systems that drive our innovative products and services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain control systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering operations.
  2. Utilize Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming to optimize system performance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve control system issues.
  4. Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  5. Provide technical leadership in the design and enhancement of control systems, ensuring the achievement of project objectives within specified timeframes and budgets.
  6. Develop and implement innovative strategies for improving cyclic rotary motion control systems.
  7. Conduct system analysis and testing to identify potential improvements and enhancements.
  8. Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering industry.
  3. In-depth knowledge of control system theory and applications.
  4. Proficient in PLC programming and system development.
  5. Experience with cyclic rotary motion control systems.
  6. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
  7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  8. Proven leadership abilities, with experience in project management and team supervision.
  9. Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and documentation.
  10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  11. Proficiency in the use of relevant software and technology, including CAD and simulation tools.
  12. Strong commitment to health and safety standards, with a focus on maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
