Job Details:
Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Senior Controls Engineer to join our growing team. This position will provide the opportunity to work on a variety of cutting-edge projects, playing a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of control systems. The successful candidate will work closely with a diverse team of engineers and other professionals to develop and optimize systems that drive our innovative products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain control systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering operations.
- Utilize Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming to optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve control system issues.
- Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical leadership in the design and enhancement of control systems, ensuring the achievement of project objectives within specified timeframes and budgets.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies for improving cyclic rotary motion control systems.
- Conduct system analysis and testing to identify potential improvements and enhancements.
- Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering industry.
- In-depth knowledge of control system theory and applications.
- Proficient in PLC programming and system development.
- Experience with cyclic rotary motion control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience in project management and team supervision.
- Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in the use of relevant software and technology, including CAD and simulation tools.
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards, with a focus on maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
