As the Accounting Manager at Italic, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of bookkeeping and financial management, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Lead monthly close process, ensuring that financial statements are produced in accordance with US GAAPPrepare and review monthly schedules for key accountsManage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate classification of OpEx categorizationsPrepare and report on weekly cash forecasting to managementProcess payroll, including tax and benefit deductions and month-end accrualsAssist with budgeting and forecasting processesOversee and manage tax compliance, including sales tax requirements across statesSupport monthly/quarterly reporting for leadership team, Board of Directors and investorsRequirements:

Technical Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA license or equivalent is requiredProven experience at a Big 4 accounting firm or accounting manager, preferably in a similar industryProficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), specifically revenue recognition principles and inventory cost accountingSoft Skills:
