About The Position **Job Title:** Surgical Technologist **Job Specialty:** Operating Room (OR) Technician **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day Shift - 5x8 - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with on-call as needed **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year **License:** Not required **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS), ND UAP **Must-Have:** Experience in General Surgery, OBGYN, and Orthopedics **Job Description:** - Work within a collaborative OR team to assist in various surgical procedures, focusing on General, OBGYN, and Orthopedic cases. - Handle a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. - Participate in 5 days of unit-specific orientation to become acclimated. - Utilize Meditech for electronic medical records. - Be prepared to support a variety of cases, typical of both adult and pediatric surgeries. - Demonstrate willingness to help others and be an effective team player. - Participate in rotational on-call responsibilities, including weekends and holidays. - Engage in a supportive work environment managed by a Charge Nurse on each shift. - Exhibit professionalism and adaptability within a dynamic healthcare setting.
