Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Downtown Seattle (Hybrid).
Salary Range: $58,240 - $68,640, Depending on experience.

Role Overview
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of the company's incoming cash cycle. Your primary duties will include ensuring accurate and timely processing of wire transfers, ACH payments, and checks. Additionally, you will assist with research and reconciliation of misapplied payments, provide support for cash forecasting, and pull data for audits. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail is critical, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Overview of the Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Handle the incoming cash cycle, including reporting wire transfers, ACH payments, and checks into the system.
- Perform daily reconciliations to ensure all checks are deposited in a timely manner.
- Assist with researching misapplied payments to maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and complete account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide support for cash forecasting, contributing to the company's financial planning efforts.
- Pull relevant financial data for audits and other compliance-related activities.
Preferred Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- 2+ years of Accounts Receivable (AR) experience in a professional setting.
- Experience in the engineering, architecture, or construction industries is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems.
- Strong Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, to manage and analyze large datasets.
