We are seeking an experienced and passionate Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a key player in our manufacturing processes, using their expertise to drive efficiency and quality in our operations. This role is integral to our company's success, as you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our manufacturing systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Engineering Design, Mechanical, and Manufacturing domains, and a proven track record of implementing effective manufacturing strategies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost-efficiency.
  2. Ensure the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively and are responsible for the development of equipment to aid in the manufacturing process.
  3. Review and plan workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
  4. Design, install and commission new production units, monitor modifications and upgrades, and troubleshoot existing processes.
  5. Apply the principles of mass, momentum and heat transfer to process and equipment design, including conceptual, scheme and detail design.
  6. Assess processes for their relevance, and assess the adequacy of engineering equipment.
  7. Review existing data to see if more research and information need to be collated.
  8. Consult with a range of stakeholders including clients, marketing teams, research and development staff as well as other engineers.
  9. Coordinate with other engineers, management, and the creative department.
  10. Ensure the process works at the optimum level, to the right rate and quality of output, in order to meet supply needs.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of Engineering Design, Mechanical, and Manufacturing principles.
  4. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
  5. Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
  6. Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with engineers and factory workers at all levels.
  7. Ability to adapt to new technology and machinery.
  8. Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
  9. Strong commitment to company values and safety guidelines.
  10. Excellent organizational, leadership, and project management skills.
  11. Professional Engineering (PE) certification is preferred.
