What You'll Do:
- Be at the heart of day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring smooth, compliant processes under GAAP and statutory principles.
- Dive deep into the insurance accounting function, playing a key role in month-end and year-end closings.
- Conduct financial analysis and account reconciliations with precision, ensuring the integrity of financial records.
- Tackle complex transactions with your expertise in technical accounting research.
- Take on exciting, high-impact projects that will keep you engaged and challenge your skills.
What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related field (CPA preferred!).
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, with specific expertise in insurance accounting (bonus points for automotive insurance experience!).
- A deep understanding of GAAP and ASC 606, ready to be put to the test in a dynamic environment.
- A team player with a strong analytical mindset and a commitment to accuracy.
