Job Details

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Fishers, Indianna

Reports to: Americas Controller

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. This role will be heavily involved in financial reporting and technical accounting matters, with a specific focus on ASC 606 revenue recognition. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of career stability, strong accounting knowledge, and an ability to manage complex financial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Lead the revenue recognition process under ASC 606, ensuring compliance with standards.

Provide technical accounting expertise, ensuring adherence to relevant accounting policies and procedures.

Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and ensure accuracy of reported financial data.

Assist with the preparation and review of external audits and financial reports.

Maintain and enhance internal controls, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure compliance with ASC 606.

Support month-end and year-end close processes.

Stay current on changes in accounting standards and regulations, providing guidance on their application.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

CPA or progress towards CPA certification preferred.

Minimum of 4-6 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on financial reporting and technical accounting.

MUST have direct experience with ASC 606 (revenue recognition).

Strong understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting concepts.

Excellent organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.

Demonstrated career stability (no job hopping).

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (experience with [Insert relevant software] preferred).
