6 months (M-F, 40 hours/week)Pay Range:

$25/hr.

The Support Engineer II will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktop computers, peripherals, software, and related systems. The role emphasizes providing timely resolutions for hardware, software, and user permissions issues, as well as conducting routine hardware maintenance.

Top 3 must-have hard skills:1. Networking & Directories in Identity Access Management Experience of 1-2 YRS2. Detailed knowledge of basic computer concepts, PC hardware and software troubleshooting, and workstation (desktop/laptop) hardware.

3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, peripherals, software, and related systems.Resolve tickets in a timely manner related to hardware, software, and user permissions issues.Perform routine access management and troubleshooting.Maintain both hardware and software, with more focus on software troubleshooting.Support and manage Macintosh OS X (10.4 and upwards).Utilize basic working knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems (Red Hat preferred) at a user level.Apply solid knowledge of networks, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, and Windows Server networking.Desired Certifications:

Apple ACMT/ACSP and Cisco CCNA certifications preferred.Microsoft MCSA/MCSE certification is a plus.Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.1-3 years of relevant work experience.1-2 years of experience in networking, directories, and identity access management.Detailed knowledge of computer concepts, PC hardware and software troubleshooting, and workstation hardware (desktop/laptop).Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and ramp up quickly.Key Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to maintain customer focus, stay motivated, and be proactive.Commitment to high standards for self and others.

This is an onsite role, requiring a candidate capable of independently managing tasks with minimal supervision while providing high-quality support to the team and end users.
