Senior Financial Analyst

Reporting to the Senior Director, FP&A, the position is responsible for conducting advanced financial analysis through complex models, enabling the optimization of revenue and cost recovery. The position includes leading the development, implementation, and monitoring of the company's financial planning processes while actively contributing to the company's financial strategy. The role will partner to provide, supporting long-term financial sustainability, and enabling informed decision-making to drive the organization's success.

Additionally, the position will assess risks, conduct market analysis, and ensure strict compliance with financial regulations. The role will collaborate with stakeholders to align financial performance with the overall objectives of the business while continuously improving processes and driving efficiencies.

What you will do for Fay:

Contribute to the development and execution of the company's financial strategy, aligning financial goals with overall business objectivesCompare and analyze workout incentive fees against business production, reporting variances and findingsConduct in-depth research on revenue variances by client and identify root causes for these variancesPrepare aged receivable reports, clearly displaying amounts due by clientPartner with the Accounts Receivable team to strategize and improve collectionsPrepare and evaluate complex financial reports, providing insights and recommendations for revenue enhancement and cost recoveryDevelop and maintain intricate financial models that provide a basis for strategic financial planning and forecastingUtilize advanced financial modeling techniques to simulate various financial scenarios, enabling the company to make informed decisions about investments, resource allocation, and risk assessmentCollaborate on special projects as requested by leadership, which may include commercial servicing, fee logic, or support for Fay AffiliatesProvide recommendations for optimizing revenue and minimizing costs to support long-term financial sustainabilityContribute to the development and execution of projects and job responsibilities to achieve financial goalsCollaborate with risk management teams to ensure the company's financial well-being is protected. Identify potential financial risks and vulnerabilities and develop plans to mitigate them.Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities. Provide data-driven insights to guide decision-making related to market expansion or diversificationEffectively communicate financial findings, forecasts, and recommendations to executive leadership and other stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial initiatives and ensure alignment with company objectivesContinuously assess and improve financial processes and reporting methods to enhance efficiency and accuracyAutomate routine financial tasks to reduce manual efforts and minimize errorsStay up to date with financial regulations and industry standards and ensure that the company's financial practices are compliant with all applicable laws and regulationsCollaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any financial compliance issuesDefine key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for tracking financial performance and progress toward financial goalsPrepare and present regular performance reports for executive leadership reviewDevelop domain knowledge of Fay's business to include an understanding of organizational objectivesMaintain broad influence through ongoing development of relationships across the organization.Ensure compliance with Fay's policies, processes, and practices.
