It is all about enriching the employee experience!PRIMARY DUTIES1. Product Qualitya. Monitor and measure the finished product in "inspection" status.b. Update the status of approved orders or nonconforming products.c. Conduct product audits and report results.d. Assist in setting up secondary inspection and sorting operations2. Process Quality and Process Control3. Control of Non-conforming product process, including analysis and disposition of internal and external nonconforming products, including customer returns.4. Quality representative in weekly production and vital signs meetings.5. Participate in the internal audit system; member of the internal audit team.6. Oversee bake oven charts, where applicable.7. Maintain routine reference of eddy mags, deltascopes, and x-rays. Calibrate as needed.OTHER•Assist in developing, training, and implementing customer-specific work instructions/procedures.•Support the corrective, preventive and continual improvement processes.•Assist in implementing the visual management system.•Verify and validate corrective actions and error proofing.•Inspection area 5SQUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES•Participate in annual Quality System audits and preparation.•Awareness of the Quality Policy•Awareness of company Quality and Environmental Objectives•Awareness of significant Environmental aspects related to specific work areas and activities.DUTIES NOT TO BE CARRIED OUT•Modifications to process parameters, process control limits,, process control plans or FMEA's•Handling of chemicalsWORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS(ONLY THOSE NECESSARY FOR THE POSITION)•Practical working knowledge of the following standards: TS 16949•Practical working knowledge of the following quality tools: pareto analysis, trend analysis, histograms, SPCKEY MEASURABLE•Internal and external(customer) quality•Internal Audit Schedule and results•TS registration resultsREQUIREMENTS/SKILLS1. Education/Certificationsa. High school graduate or equivalentb. Preferred ASQ CQIA or CQIc. Formal Problem-solving training.2. Experiencea. Practical process and product auditing and inspecting in a high-volume manufacturing environment.3. Knowledge and Skillsa. Proficiency with the use of continuous improvement tools and techniquesb. Proficiency with the application of basic SPCc.
