POSITION SUMMARY The Dry Blending Operator works under the guidance of the Dry Blending Lead Operator on the production of dry blended products. This position operates within FDA FSMA and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) requirements defining food safety standards for the safe production of food in the plant and offices i.e. within the standards of defined risk levels by area. Essential Functions Statement(s) •Obtain the picking sheets for the day from the department supervisor. •Stage the proper ingredients and scan the order into the computer system. •Ensure ingredients are dumped in proper order, and that the 30 minute blend occurs. •Monitor metal detector and all processing equipment for proper operation. •Ensure the bags are packed to the proper weight, and are labeled and sealed properly. •Complete required documentation. •Scan the finished product into inventory. •Assist in or complete other duties as assigned. SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School diploma, or equivalent. Experience: None.
