Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: OR license required, can submit with it pending Certifications: COVID-19 Vaccine (Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed) Must-Have: EPIC charting experience Job Description: - The registered nurse will provide patient care on a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit within a Short Term Acute Care/Level IV Trauma Center.- The role involves a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.- The nurse may be required to work every other weekend.- Floating between units or to nearby affiliate hospitals may be necessary.- This position does not require block scheduling.- Providers may be supplied with communication devices as needed for the assignment; if not provided, compensation for work-related cell phone use is offered.- Orientation consists of 40 hours and is non-billable.- Completion of pre-start and annual non-billable modules is required.- Willingness to commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.- Must have at least 1 year of employment references within the last 3 years for submission.This opportunity allows for a dynamic nursing role within an engaging healthcare environment, offering flexibility and professional growth.
