Responsibilities of Senior Accountant:
- Compliance and Firm Policies: Demonstrate a deep understanding of and adherence to the firm's policies and procedures.
- Supervision and Performance Evaluation: Utilize your technical expertise to supervise and evaluate the performance of staff and associate accountants.
- Client Relationships: Begin developing the skills necessary to build strong client relationships and foster client loyalty.
- Tax Expertise: Start building expertise in relevant IRS sections and regulations.
- Client Correspondence: Prepare routine client correspondence for partner approval.
- Tax Return Supervision: Take responsibility for overseeing tax return preparation engagements.
- Audit Engagement Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and supervise various phases of routine audit engagements, including preparation, evaluation and drafting of financial statements, reports, and management letter.
- Budget Management: Monitor time budgets to ensure efficient project management
Preferred Experience of Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred
- 3 years of experience in public accounting with a strong background in tax, audit, and accounting principles.
- Proven ability to work independently, make critical decisions, and manage complex engagements.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and accounting software.
- Dedication to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
