Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

Key Responsibilities of the Cost Accountant:
- Manage cost accounting processes to ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuation.
- Conduct profitability analyses to drive strategic decision-making.
- Compile budget and forecast documentation, providing key insights to management.
- Perform variance analysis to identify and explain differences between budgeted and actual financial performance.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of financial data.
Preferred Qualifications of the Cost Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Proven experience in cost accounting, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with PLEX software is a plus.
