Candidates will automatically be declined.**Only submit profile who can work schedule in posting and interested in the unit.We are seeking a Pre/Post RN to provide care to patients having outpatient surgical procedures, inpatient and outpatient GI and Bronchoscopy procedures.Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin!We are seeking a Procedure RN to:Provide care to patients having outpatientsurgical procedures, inpatient and outpatient GI and Bronchoscopy procedures.Establish goals and strategies for meeting thedischarge or continuing care needs of the patient, family, and/or other careprovider.

Minimum Requirements:Facility Requirement:Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile: resume, *** portal and all onboarding documentation must have permanent address listed).Experience:Must have experience recent experience in recovering sedated GI and pulmonary procedures such as ERCP, EUS, EGD, Colonoscopy, endoscopy/Bronchoscopy (some patients have general anesthesia rather than moderate sedation)Must be able to perform Moderate Sedation, and pre/post all levels of care including PACU/Phase I and Phase II recovery.Traveler must have completed two years of experience within last 3 years.Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks).Licensure and Certification:Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.BLS and ACLS

must be certified through American Heart Association ONLYReferenceNeeds 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only).TelemetryTraveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Travelerwill be required to pass UW Health Telemetry test prior to being clearedto start (not for clinic positions).UW Health Recruitment will send instructions to traveler 2-3 weeksprior to start date.FloatingTravelers are the first to float. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs. During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.Location: University Hospital, 600 Highland Ave, Madison, WI 53792University Hospital in Madison is a Magnet -designated facility that s ranked Wisconsin s #1 hospital and considered one of the nation's leading hospitals, teaching institutions and referral centers.Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation.

Position Urgency:Quick Start

Shifts:40 hrs/week, Day/evening, 8 hr shift, Monday - Friday, Rotating start times- between 0630-0900. On call requirements one weekday and weekend call every 4-5 weekends.
