Salary: $28 - $35 per hour

Job Details

JOB DUTIES

  • Create/issue POs using our ERP system and distribute copies internally as required
  • Issuing POs and supervising outside process vendors used during the manufacturing process
  • Locate suppliers for all product needs of the Company and maintain an approved supplier list
  • Support QC in ensuring they have all required documentation for incoming parts and material
  • Purchase raw materials to support outside process vendors
  • Consult engineering on particular projects and submit required drawings and BOMs to suppliers
  • Monitor vendors to follow the status of orders and ensure on-time delivery
  • Determine the best product for the best price and best delivery schedule
  • Resolve invoice/PO discrepancies, such as pricing, the amount received, etc., with suppliers
  • Assists in the semi-annual inventory count of raw materials and finished goods
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • 3 - 5 years of experience working in a purchasing and/or buyer/planner role
  • Manufacturing experience required (exposure to metal a plus)
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a true team environment
  • Experience with Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
  • Ability to be flexible with your daily schedule & open minded with an excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
