Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Type: Temp-to-Perm, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager

General: The Quality Control Inspector performs inspections and completes required documentation per the company's quality plans. The QC Inspector completes in-process inspections, as well as First Piece and other inspections as assigned.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Run CMM Machine
    • Perform startup and shutdown process
    • Calibrate with master ball and test plan probes
    • Run production programs
    • Use solvers and reset if not working
    • Use customer-supplied fixtures to inspect parts
  • Visually inspect parts
  • Use hand gauges to measure parts
  • Complete required QC paperwork
  • Perform Final Inspection
    • Write DMRs (Discrepant Material Reports)
  • Operate mold machines (fill in breaks)
  • Perform material handling duties when required
  • Complete required production information (routers, lot numbers, etc.)
  • Change end mills as required
  • Perform document control
  • Follow company-required documentation and ISO 9001 quality system requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read prints
  • Ability to effectively organize time
  • Good computer skills
  • Able to use hand gauges
  • Previous experience with optics is a plus

Pay:

  • $20.00 - $21.00

Schedule:

  • Day Shift
