Job Summary: Clinical Application Liaison

We are seeking a Clinical Application Liaison to bridge the gap between IT and clinical service lines, including Nursing, Pharmacy, and Perioperative Services. This role involves:

• Leading needs assessments, software design, implementation, support, and reporting for clinical applications.
• Collaborating with clinicians to design efficient workflows and guiding Clinical Analysts in resolving complex issues.
• Overseeing unit and integrated software testing, ensuring alignment with design objectives.
• Troubleshooting application and system hardware issues, both independently and with vendor support.
• Managing system security, disaster recovery, and backup processes for assigned applications.
• Acting as the project lead, collaborating with the Project Management Office throughout project phases.
• Mentoring System Analysts and assisting in the development of training materials.
• Ensuring documentation standards are met and leading issue escalations to resolution.
• Supporting Hospital Information Systems interfaces and maintaining system documentation.

Required Skills:

• Familiarity with ITIL standards, LAN, DNS, and networking.
• Proficiency in SQL databases and experience with software upgrades.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery procedures and HL7 interfaces.
• Experience with SQL-based applications.
