We are currently seeking a junior-level

Accountant

to join our

Finance

team. The selected candidate will report to the Senior Finance Operations Analyst and will support the accounting department by assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping for the company and its sister concerns. This role also includes supporting accounting duties for our sister company, FrontAd Media Inc. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2-3 years of professional hands on accounting experience and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

This is a full-time, Junior-level position, applicants must have a minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in accounting and finance.

We are based in Santa Clara, California, and are seeking local candidates exclusively to work in-office 4 days/week with 1 day remote. Telecommuting is not an option for this position.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. No visa sponsorship will be offered.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Manage bookkeeping and other standard accounting operations while accurately recording accurate transactions and adhere to accounting standards.Manage all aspects of the general ledger including accounts payable and accounts receivable using Quickbooks Online and Bill.com.Process invoices, manage vendors and payments, and track commission revenue from partners. Must be able to address any discrepancies that arise.Follow up on overdue invoice payments and manage receivables.Support company's payroll, employee benefits and retirement accounts for any financial matters.Oversee and manage daily accounting inboxes and communications for the company and ensure timely resolution of queries.Conduct monthly bank, credit cards or any other financial institutes reconciliations and manage intercompany transactions.Support the accounting team with special analyses, budget preparation, and forecast reports.Collaborate with departments to resolve discrepancies and outstanding items.Audit various commission statements for accuracy and compliance with contracts.Provide documentation and support for year-end tax filings, including 1099s.Communicate, collaborate and work with CPA or external parties for accounts and financial matters.Required Skills:

Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and solve issues.Attention to Detail:

Strong attention to detail with a solid understanding of reconciliation processes. Must be able to recognize small details and changes.Technical Proficiency:

Hands-on experience and intermediate with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Google Suites, and Excel skills.Accounting Knowledge:

Strong understanding of Accounting Principles, Basic tax laws, and regulatory requirements for compliance and accurate reporting.Communication Skills:

Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate financial data clearly to all levels of management and customers, both verbally and in writing.Project Management Skills:

Must have effective teamwork, strong collaboration abilities, and proficiency in managing and meeting tight deadlines. ClickUp experience is a plus.Experience & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferred.Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience required.2-3 years of proven experience in office or professional settings, with a focus on accounting, demonstrating adeptness and competency in relevant responsibilities.Capable of working independently and collaborating across teams, demonstrating self-reliance and initiative in completing tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.A team player with a growth mindset who is flexible, organized, dependable, and adaptable with changing requirements.Experience processing payroll in Paychex Flex and/or Rippling is a plus.Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68,500- $85,000 and is dependent on location and experience.
