OVERVIEW OF THE CONTROLLER ROLE:

• Oversee the monthly close process and provide timely financial statements and analysis.
• Maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Manage the accounting team, promoting a positive and results-driven work culture.
• Supervise the preparation of financial statements, audits, and tax returns in coordination with external firms.
• Track and manage annual budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONTROLLER ROLE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; CPA highly desired.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in both public and private sectors, with 4 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and advanced proficiency in accounting systems and Excel.
