Job DetailsAs a Civil Engineering Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Managing a team of civil engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional development.
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Utilizing your expertise in Roadway, Civil 3D, 2D AutoCAD to design and plan infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and public spaces.
- Ensuring all projects adhere to relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
- Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Preparing and presenting project reports, proposals, technical drawings, and design specifications to clients and stakeholders.
- Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Civil Engineering Manager position, candidates must possess the following:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification will be highly advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects such as roadways and public spaces.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team of engineers and technicians.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in using Civil 3D, 2D AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, civil engineering principles, and project management best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- A valid driver's license, as the role may involve travel to project sites.
