Job DetailsAs a Civil Engineer, your key responsibilities will be:
- Developing design concepts and producing contract documents based on client needs.
- Managing and coordinating with teams to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
- Conducting land surveys and site development activities, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Utilizing software such as MicroStation, 2D AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Geopak, InRoads, and Roadway for design purposes.
- Implementing innovative engineering solutions to resolve complex technical issues.
- Preparing and presenting detailed reports on the progress of projects.
- Coordinating with contractors, architects, and other project stakeholders.
- Ensuring projects run according to schedule and budgets.
- Applying expert knowledge of design principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields.
- Appraising the feasibility and advisability of recommending, scheduling, and carrying out engineering projects.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, specifically within the finance industry.
- A Professional Engineering license is required.
- Proficiency in MicroStation, 2D AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Geopak, InRoads, and Roadway.
- A solid understanding of land surveying and site development.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- An ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong focus on quality.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems and make sound engineering decisions.
