Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of plant quality including audits, inspections, and first article reporting.
  • Drive the implementation and achievement of quality goals, ensuring customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary advocate for quality in the New Product Development process, representing the company in key customer and partner meetings.
  • Develop, evaluate, and improve quality standards, leveraging new technologies and methods to enhance performance.
  • Analyze and synthesize quality data, presenting findings and improvement strategies to executive leadership.
  • Oversee non-conforming product management and supplier quality, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Monitor and improve department key performance metrics (COPQ, QPPM, Supplier Quality QPPM, DMR/RMA rate).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience (5+ years in quality management).
  • 5-7 years of experience leading quality teams in the machining, semiconductor, medical device, or automotive industries.
  • Strong knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T techniques and the ability to interpret manufacturing blueprints.
  • Proven success in driving continuous improvement initiatives and synthesizing technical data into actionable steps.
  • Experience writing process descriptions, assembly, and manufacturing instructions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and represent the company externally.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience in the semiconductor equipment or medical device sectors.
  • Familiarity with advanced quality control technologies and methods.
