Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with cross-functional teams at customer sites to resolve quality issues.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes, including PFMEA, control plans, and corrective actions.
- Ensure product specifications such as fit, finish, and durability meet industry standards.
- Monitor quality data input, providing timely reporting and analysis of key characteristics.
- Provide coaching and feedback to the manufacturing team, including managing failure catalogs and samples.
- Work closely with customers to address product concerns and deliver timely solutions.
- Lead daily quality quick response management and problem-solving efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with a strong focus on injection molding, assembly, and quality control.
- Expertise in quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
- Proficiency in 8D problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or Chinese is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a sharp focus on quality and precision.
Nice to Haves:
- Six Sigma Certification.
- Experience with AS9100 and quality audits.
- Familiarity with the automotive interior industry.
