Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate directly with cross-functional teams at customer sites to resolve quality issues.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes, including PFMEA, control plans, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure product specifications such as fit, finish, and durability meet industry standards.
  • Monitor quality data input, providing timely reporting and analysis of key characteristics.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to the manufacturing team, including managing failure catalogs and samples.
  • Work closely with customers to address product concerns and deliver timely solutions.
  • Lead daily quality quick response management and problem-solving efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with a strong focus on injection molding, assembly, and quality control.
  • Expertise in quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
  • Proficiency in 8D problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or Chinese is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a sharp focus on quality and precision.

Nice to Haves:

  • Six Sigma Certification.
  • Experience with AS9100 and quality audits.
  • Familiarity with the automotive interior industry.
