Job Summary:

Support manufacturing by preparing all necessary material derived from project engineering data and documents to be used in manufacturing process. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to product identification, data collection, access indexing, filing, storage, maintenance and disposition of engineering data and records.

Responsibilities:

•Exhibits beginner to intermediate skills in ONE of TWO document control rooms

oPRINT ROOM

§Managing storage of project documents, work instructions, and essential documents for the business division.

§Prepares and organizes documentation packages, along with tagging and labeling materials, work instructions, assembly drawings, all essential documentation needed to support various production lines in manufacturing plant

§Prepares and organizes documentation packages with instruction manuals, regulatory-compliant data labels to be shipped with final product for various production lines in manufacturing plant

§Completes accurate, detailed data entry into manufacturing plant databases and production database log

§Generate and run reports from company's primary business solution software

oNAMEPLATE ROOM

§Create necessary nameplates based on specifications illustrated on engineering drawings.

§Provide replenishment of cabling tags per various production line needs in the manufacturing plants.

§Processes various documentation procedures via project management software including new projects and engineering change requests to ensure recordkeeping and information transfer is successful

§Processes and provides copies of final engineering release form documentation packages including drawings to the Print Room for logging in preparation for eventual production release

§Supports company's need for various, non-production related nameplates in other departments throughout the company

Education/Certification:

HS Graduate or equivalent requiredSkills & Experience:

Must possess proficient typing and computer skillsFamiliar with BaaN or similar ERP and MS office softwareAbility to read and interpret basic electrical and mechanical drawings2 years previous experienceWritten and oral communication skillsPhysical Requirements:

Some heavy lifting (under 40lbs) and transferring stacks of drawings and documentsWork Environment:
