Make Your Mark:

The proposal Content Manager owns the comprehensive content management strategy for BlackLine’s Proposal Team. This person will interface with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other key stakeholders to ensure that all content is clean and ‘proposal-ready’. The Proposal Content Manager is responsible for maintaining and expanding the RFP database (Loopio) of pre-written content to improve proposal quality. The role is responsible for defining and optimizing the Loopio database structure and for maintaining database accessibility, data quality and data backup.

You'll Get To:

Assimilate information extracted from SMEs and re-write it into a defined style, ensuring that it is clearly articulated and easy to integrate into proposals. Ensure legal and operational compliance of all content and database records. Schedule regular reviews of the knowledgebase to identify areas that need to be updated and expanded. Review the structure of the knowledgebase on a regular basis, ensuring it meets the needs of the business. Provide regular training to users of the knowledgebase and gather feedback on a regular basis. Collaborate with various departments (Marketing, Legal, Compliance, IT Security, HR, Finance, etc.) to improve current content and generate new content. Assist with editing content for consistency of voice, spelling, and general BlackLine branding and formatting. Provide thorough review of RFP’s, RFI’s, and other proposal documents to ensure that the content that is created is utilized as intended. Establish content management processes to incorporate new responses or edits to Loopio. Regularly check for expiring content to update or remind SMEs to review, as needed. Act as the team lead to incorporate any new corporate branding or messaging into the RFP database.

What You'll Bring:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. 3+ years of experience working in a proposal function. APMP certification highly preferred, Foundation level. Accounting/Financial Automation experience a plus. Loopio Management Software experience preferred or other similar tools. Exceptional analytical skills & confident working with remote business team. High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency. Must be adaptable and be able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change. Self-motivated, critical thinker with prior cross-functional experience working with Product, Legal, IT and Finance. Positive team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross-functional teams. Must be innovative and resourceful and optimize use of available resources. Able to develop new approaches for situations in which standard approaches do not apply.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – will be working with MS Word extensively (must know advanced features including setting up and modifying Word styles). Familiar with Generative AI.

Salary Range:

USD $119,000.00 - USD $159,000.00.

Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location.
