Pay Range:

The pay range for this job is $167,000 - $317,500 annually; actual pay is dependent on experience and geographic location.Benefits:

The Head of Design for Ralph Lauren Home embodies a passion for the Home space and has deep understanding and respect for the Ralph Lauren brand. The Head of Design should have a comprehensive knowledge of the competitive environment and clear and detailed point of view about Ralph Lauren's position to win with product. This role will lead the teams responsible for the seasonal and core product that aligns with the Ralph Lauren Home product roadmap and brand vision. This role also leads product design, and influences go to market strategy (marketing, store placement, etc.) for their designs.Lead the Ralph Lauren Home Design team (soft goods and hard goods product categories) in developing product designs and seasonal strategies per lifestyle concepts, the line plan and merchandising roadmap.Have a point of view regarding the market and trends, and how they relate to RL brand.Deep understanding of the brand — interpret in a market-right presentation and advocate for quality and style that’s right for the brand.Partner with merchants on ensuring on-time delivery/ development of cross functional calendar.Support Creative director by partnering with marketing to ensure strong content creation across channels.Support team on special projects.Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure design consistency and alignment with brand standards.Build a strong culture based on creative excellence and achievement of strategic objectives.To provide team members with engaging and inspiring work, and clear two-way feedback.To allow and enable clear accountability and decision rights.Develop, mentor, and coach team while taking an active role in their development and success.Take ownership and drive accountability within team’s remit of responsibilities and work.To build a culture that encourages diverse voices to participate and drive outcomes.Experience, Skills & Knowledge:Highly experienced in Home product design, with strong attention to detail, quality and historical references across different product categories.Proven and respected leader with global business experience.Superior product savvy and commercial acumen.Substantial knowledge of trade regulations, testing protocol, product integrity, production cycle timeline and fabric construction.A career demonstrating solid leadership skills and cross-functional influencing skills; a proven ability to develop and implement new strategies in competitive business situations.Strong understanding of the product lifecycle and business calendars.Exceptional ability to synthesize issues and draw valid, actionable conclusions from established facts.Visionary leader with ability to influence team.Experience leading & developing high performing global teams.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.High emotional intelligence and relationship building skills.Highly collaborative with cross functional partners.
