Certified Medical Assistant

*Overview**Lux Nursing: 13WK Contract (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday)**GREAT Facility! Position will go FAST....*We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary skills to assist healthcare professionals in providing high-quality medical services.*Responsibilities*- Perform clinical duties such as taking vital signs, assisting with examinations, and administering medications- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality- Assist with inpatient and outpatient procedures- Handle patient inquiries and provide information on treatments and procedures- Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication- Conduct X-rays and assist with coding procedures- Collaborate with healthcare providers in a clinic or urgent care setting*Requirements*- Certification as a Medical Assistant- Proficiency in medical terminology and coding- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center is a plus- Ability to perform tasks related to patient care efficiently- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionalsJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $24.73 - $25.67 per hourExpected hours: No less than 40 per weekSchedule:* Monday to FridayWork Location: In person
