Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other relevant reports.
- Oversee general ledger activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, inventory management, and cost accounting for manufacturing and distribution processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits, and liaise with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and information.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in accounting processes, leveraging ERP systems and technology tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and process automation tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
