We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. This is a flex hybrid role, offering the right-fit blend of remote and in-office work. You will be responsible for managing our company's tax planning and compliance with a keen eye for accuracy and efficiency. With your expertise in financial reporting, tax preparation, and tax accounting, you will ensure our company's financial operations remain compliant with tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Tax Manager, you will be expected to:

  1. Manage and oversee the company's tax compliance, ensuring all tax returns and reports are accurately prepared and submitted on time.
  2. Conduct thorough tax planning and research to identify opportunities for minimizing tax liabilities and ensuring financial efficiency.
  3. Provide strategic tax advisory services to the management, offering insights on tax implications of business decisions.
  4. Handle financial reporting and accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  5. Stay updated with changing tax laws and regulations, and ensure the company's tax policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
  6. Manage corporate tax, indirect taxation, international tax, and real estate tax matters.
  7. Handle tax accounting for C Corp and passthrough entities.
  8. Collaborate with the finance team to prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and tax projections.
  9. Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors, representing the company during tax audits and investigations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Tax Manager role should have:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification will be an added advantage.
  2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in public Accounting, including experience as a Tax Manager.
  3. Proficiency in financial reporting, tax preparation, tax compliance, tax planning, and financial accounting.
  4. Extensive experience in corporate tax, tax accounting, tax returns, tax research, tax advisory, indirect taxation, international tax, C Corp, passthrough, and real estate tax matters.
  5. Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with the ability to stay updated with changing tax laws and implications.
  6. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic tax advice.
  7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, management, tax authorities, and external auditors.
  8. High level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially and ethically.
