Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per year
A bit about us:We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Bankruptcy Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handling a diverse range of complex legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Bankruptcy Litigation, Creditor’s Rights, Commercial Litigation, insolvency issues, bankruptcy cases, adversary proceedings, and Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases.

Responsibilities:
As a Bankruptcy Attorney, your responsibilities will include:
- Representing clients in all stages of bankruptcy proceedings, including counseling, negotiation, litigation, and resolution of disputes.
- Handling adversary proceedings, including preference, fraudulent transfer, and non-dischargeable actions.
- Providing legal advice to clients on bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring matters.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of legal documents related to bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.
- Representing creditors in protecting their rights and maximizing their recoveries.
- Providing legal advice on commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and other commercial disputes.
- Keeping abreast of changes in bankruptcy law and advising clients accordingly.
- Working collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide the highest level of client service.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Bankruptcy Attorney position will have the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Bankruptcy Litigation, Creditor’s Rights, Commercial Litigation, insolvency issues, bankruptcy cases, adversary proceedings, and Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
