Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: - ACLS - BLS Must-Have: - Current ICU experience with strong critical care skills - Positive attitude and team player Job Description: - Work in a unit with 18 beds and a staff of 68. - Night shift staffed with 8 RNs and 1 CCT. - Patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1. - Equipment used includes GE Monitors, Ventilators (PB 840, 980), and Baxter Sigma Spectrum IV pumps. - Familiarity with Meditech EMR system. - Procedures performed include intubations, central line and A-line insertions, and chest tube placements. - Open heart experience preferred but not required. - Occasional floating to all areas in the hospital. - Required to work every other weekend. - Professional attire in any scrub color permitted.
