Our client in the financial industry is seeking a Senior Cognos Developer to join their team. As a Senior Cognos Developer and Analyst, you will be part of the IT department supporting the finance and accounting team.

Jersey City, New Jersey (Hybrid 2-3 days per week in the office)
Pay Range:
$75-80/hour W2
What's the Job?
Apply data analysis skills for insights.Map business processes and requirements.Work within agile teams and contribute to all assigned SDLC life cycle roles.Create user stories, and address deployment needs.Build analytical user entry screen-based systems.What's Needed?
Highly proficient in Cognos Analytics Application(s) end to end tool stack along with databases, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint and other supporting data tools.Build and maintain data pipelines. Implement custom reports and BI analytics.Financial accounting experience is preferred.Regularly report project status. Work on sprint-based cycles for timely task completion.Strong Oracle General Ledger business knowledge is a big plus.What's in it for me?
